DIN 1.2206 Cold Work Tool Steel

Ningshing Special-Steel is the leading distribution and stockist of DIN 1.2206 Cold Work Steel. Our large stock of DIN 1.2206 Cold Work Steel can meet your demand with immediate delivery. The stock involves different size range of hot rolled /forged rounds and flats, forged blocks. Delivery condition in Annealed or Q+T.

DIN 1.2206 Cold Work Tool Steel is high hardness and good abrasion resistance, carbide cutting tools 4~7 times higher than the high speed steel cutting speed and tool life high. Manufacture of moulds, measuring tool, 20~150times higher than alloy tool steel. But carbide brittleness is big, cannot undertake machining, hard to make complex shape overall tool.

Quench
770 to 800 °C.

Tempering
100 to 150 °C.
After tempering hardness is 56 to 65 HRC.
